Yin Yoga for Caregivers 2
November 15, 2022 at 11:00 am - 12:00 PMSo often when we need to take care of others, we can neglect taking care of ourselves. Take 60 minutes for you and enjoy the healing benefits of Yin Yoga. Yin yoga is a slow, floor-based practice consisting of deep stretches, held for time and accompanied by calming breath work. Yin yoga is a practice of yielding, of letting go of everything that is not in the present moment.
In this program, led by Crosby Wellness Center yoga instructor Katie DeAscanis, you’ll learn breathing techniques to aid in relaxation and physical yoga postures that encourage peace in the body. Plus, this class will demonstrate how healthy stressing of the fascia and joints can improve health and mobility.
Special instructions: Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat and water to class.
This program is presented by Becca Schmidt and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center
