Join us for Mindful Approach to Intuitive Eating (Webinar) on Tuesday, March 29 at 7 PM.

We can all agree that eating healthily can be challenging. These setbacks often leave us hungrier than ever, not just for good food, but for peace of mind and a routine we can count on. So, we invite you to make peace with your food and your soul while rediscovering your pleasure for good eating again. Join Josephine Thomason, MS, RDN, LDN, founder and owner of Nutrisi Consulting and Sarah Gallander, BSc, CFNC, FBCA, founder and owner of The Wellness Matrix, to gain an understanding of Intuitive Eating, a simple idea that focuses on a non-diet, healthy relationship with food and eating behaviors. Thomason and Gallander will discuss the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating and how these principles can influence your healthy lifestyle choices.

By participating in this program, you can expect to learn:

  • that Intuitive Eating rejects the diet mentality and embraces a wellness culture.
  • how adoption of Intuitive Eating principles can acknowledge and support your body’s internal hunger and satiety cues.
  • how Intuitive Eating supports mindfulness to your body’s reaction to different foods and eating patterns.

This program is presented by Josephine Thomason and Sarah Gallander and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

How to join the Zoom Program:

Upon registration for this program, you will receive two emails:

  • One email from Eventbrite: you can either disregard this email or save it for your records. No action is needed with this message.
  • One email from the Center for Health & Wellbeing: this email will contain your link to join the Zoom meeting. Simply select the link and the Zoom Meeting will launch. Please allow yourself five – 10 minutes before the program starts to launch Zoom and confirm your technology is properly working.

About Josephine Thomason, MS, RDN, LDN

Josephine Thomason is the founder and owner of Nutrisi Consulting. She is also a registered and licensed dietitian in the state of Florida. She specializes in Functional Nutrition where she is privileged to help clients identify the root causes of their digestive disorders and other chronic conditions. She is adept at using integrative and functional models to help clients understand the importance of gut health and how it impacts our immune system, digestive system, brain health, as well as our overall wellbeing. About Sarah Gallander, BSc, CFNC, FBCA

Sarah Gallander is the founder and owner of The Wellness Matrix. Gallander is also a Functional Nutritionist and Blood Chemistry Analyst in the state of Texas. She specializes in Functional Nutrition where she is honored to help clients identify the root causes of their chronic conditions and provide education on how to understand your blood chemistry from lab work as an entire body system. Her focus is gut health and its relationship with metabolism and hormone production and function. She also serves as a patient advocate for those struggling with Lyme and mold illness, assisting with collecting client data, client history and preparing clients for additional specialist appointments during treatment.
