You’ve probably heard the sayings, “may the wind be always at your back…” and “may you have Irish blessings in your heart!” Both common catchphrases of popular Irish proverbs, these sayings offer glimpses into Irish heritage. But in particular, they provide an entertaining journey into the life of St. Patrick, patron saint of Ireland, and the myths and misunderstandings that still surround him today.
In this seminar, writer and professor Paul W. Jacob (Jake) shares about the life and legend of St. Patrick and into the evolution of St. Patrick’s Day. Jacob also reads famous Irish blessings and poems.
This program is presented by Paul W. Jacob (Jake) and isvhosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
