Help your garden flourish while reducing your own waste. Composting with worms at home, or the practice of vermiculture, is one of the easiest ways to reduce waste while creating a nutrient rich soil amendment for your garden. This soil is perfect for helping grow healthy plants while eliminating the need for synthetic fertilizers. This program is intended for growers to learn the basics of vermiculture and how to build your own worm bin at home. This class was led by the team at Fleet Farming, a non-profit program of IDEAS For Us. To learn more about Fleet Farming, visit www.FleetFarming.org
This program was presented by Caroline Chomanics, Fleet Farming manager, and was hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
