Bake a batch of cookies and join us for a virtual adventure in which we will explore some of the world’s holiday customs and festivities. Hold on to your hot chocolate as you are whisked away from your living room to various celebrations around the globe. This interactive and fun program is suited for the whole family.

By participating in this program presented by CHWB Wellbeing Guide Sara Wright and Guest Services Manager Kate Stone, you can expect to:

  • learn about unique holiday traditions taking place all around the world.
  • discover how the celebration of holiday traditions build social connections within the community through shared experiences.
  • test your knowledge and learn fun facts about holiday traditions with an interactive trivia game.

Special Instructions: During this interactive presentation, participants are encouraged to turn on their microphones and cameras and share their thoughts and ideas about the topics presented.

This program is presented by Sara Wright and Kate Stone and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

About Your Program Presenters
About Sara Wright
Sara Wright serves as the Wellbeing Guide for the Center for Health and Wellbeing (CHWB). She works directly with community members in administration of the Wellbeing Survey, a diagnostic tool that encourages reflection on one’s overall wellbeing as related to the Seven Dimensions of Wellbeing (Intellectual, Spiritual, Physical, Social, Emotional, Vocational, Environmental.) Wright interprets the results of the Wellbeing Survey and creates an individualized plan to help each community member on their personal wellbeing journey. Wright has more than 20 years of professional experience including knowledge in the following areas: social services, health education, community relations, management, personal training and fitness coaching. She earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and two bachelor’s degrees. She is passionate about helping others reach their goals and achieve self-empowerment.

About Kate Stone
Kate Stone began at the Center for Health & Wellbeing as Welcome Desk Lead, greeting guests and helping visitors reach their destinations within the building. In her role as Guest Services Manager, she continues to connect community members to services at the Center to achieve their wellbeing goals. Her years of customer service experience guide her focus on promoting health education programs at the Center. Kate moved to Central Florida from Southern California in 2018, joining the inaugural staff at the Center in April 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Organizational Communication and Leadership.
