Join us for Nutrition Tech – Where Food and Technology Meet For Better Health (Webinar) on Monday, March 1 at 11 AM.

Thanks to the technology we have available today, it’s easier to be more health-conscious than ever before. There are gadgets and trends aiding us in creating wholesome, mouth-watering meals, which can bring joy, health and wellness back into our lives; from smart juicers and vegan protein powders to the very best food management apps at our fingertips, it can feel overwhelming to know where to start in healthy eating. Join Dr. David Metcalf, director of Mixed Emerging Technology Integration Lab at UCF, in exploring new tools and techniques on nutrition. While fad-or-crash diets can certainly work in the short term, long-term mindfulness about what we put in our bodies for fuel and health is activated by these new tech and time-proven techniques.

By participating in this program, you can expect to:

  • explore technology trends and see some of the latest tools;
  • discuss mindset around food, nutrition, recipes, and technology;
  • and share ideas for integrating nutrition tech into a well-rounded view of the Seven Dimensions of Wellbeing.

This program is presented by Dr. David Metcalf and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
