April 19 | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Join us for Healthy Eating on the Go (Webinar) on Tuesday, April 19 at 1 PM.

After two years of quarantines and travel restrictions, the world is starting to hit the road again. If you’ve spent the past couple of years establishing healthier eating habits, you may be hesitant to navigate eating on the go again. Traveling and eating out in a restaurant doesn’t have to sabotage a healthy diet. Join Registered Dietitian Carissa Galloway to learn smart strategies to navigate restaurant menus, oversized portions, and eating well when you’re out of town. Galloway will provide nutrition education on what to look for on the menu, how to decode menus to find better-for-you options and the ideal list for packable foods for all your travels!

By participating in this session, you will learn:

  • how to make smarter nutrition choices when traveling.
  • nutrition education on marco-nutrients to include at each meal.
  • menu reading tips.

This program is presented by Carissa Galloway and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
