September 13 | 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Join us virtually for “Dairy-Free Dining” on Tuesday, September 13 at 6:30 PM.

Is dairy truly your friend? For many people, including the estimated 25 percent of the population that is lactose intolerant, dairy has been known to cause bloating, gas, cramps and diarrhea. Many of the most beloved dairy products, such as cheese, ice cream or creams, are packed with saturated fats that can elevate cholesterol and lead to obesity and heart disease. Adopting a dairy-free diet or even reducing dairy consumption can lead to positive health benefits, including higher energy levels and improved feelings of wellbeing.

Join Debbie Zimmerman, Food for Life instructor, Nutrition & Lifestyle Health Coach, and Professional Plant-Based Chef as she discusses dairy alternatives and demonstrates delicious dairy-free recipes. Learning how to work with these new ingredients and recipes will broaden your dietary options. Soon, you’ll be reaching for these recipes instead of that pint of ice cream!

Registered participants of this webinar receive recipes for:

  • Fruit Parfait
  • Mango Mousse
  • Twice Baked Potato with Tofu Ricotta
  • Nutty Parm
  • Double Chocolate Almond Pie

This program is presented by Debbie Zimmerman and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
