Meet The Gastroenterology Team

TORFAY SHARIFNIA ROMAN, MD

Torfay Sharifnia Roman, MD, joined the AdventHealth Transplant Institute in 2014 as a transplant hepatologist. She is triple board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and transplant hepatology. Dr. Roman cares for patients requiring treatment for liver related diseases, including those with end-stage liver failure/cirrhosis needing liver transplantation. Her clinical specialties include management of patients with viral hepatitis, NASH/fatty liver, autoimmune liver disease, genetic liver diseases, alcohol-mediated disease, liver cancer and cirrhosis. She also specializes in treating patients who require liver transplantation and manages their long-term post-transplant care. She provides endoscopic evaluation for those needing EGDs and colonoscopies.

BRAD LASLEY MMS, PA-C

Brad Lasley, MMS, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with experience managing patients with complex liver conditions. He specializes in integrative multidisciplinary care and complex medical management while monitoring patient progress throughout the health care journey. Brad’s experience includes management of fatty liver disease, infectious and inflammatory liver disease, cirrhosis of the liver, liver failure, liver tumors and other high-risk conditions. He has a special interest in the treatment of hepato-pancreato-biliary cancer and fatty liver disease.
