These dimensions are our North Star of true wellbeing. They guide and focus our work. \nWhy is this our approach? Research shows that a balance among the Seven Dimensions of Wellbeing leads to a fuller\, more satisfying life – something we want every person to experience. This class\, led by CHWB Wellbeing Guide Sara Wright\, is an in-depth look at those Seven Dimensions of Wellbeing. During this four -part interactive series that provides strategies and tactics to assist in your individualized quest of building the best\, healthiest you\, you’ll learn how each dimension’s distinct characteristics correlate and contribute to your whole-person health and wellbeing. \nEach week\, we will cover the following dimensions of wellbeing: \nWeek 1: Physical Wellbeing \nWeek 2: Social and Emotional Wellbeing \nWeek 3: Vocational and Environmental Wellbeing \nWeek 4: Intellectual and Spiritual Wellbeing \nThis program is presented by Sara Wright and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation. \nA note regarding COVID-19 safety protocols: At this time\, all guests at the Center for Health & Wellbeing are required to wear masks in all indoor spaces\, including during our education programs. Program presenters may remove their masks in order to be better heard by audience members. Attendees\, however\, must keep their masks fully in place (covering the nose and mouth) during the entire presentation. She works directly with community members providing wellbeing coaching and consultation. Wright makes suggestions\, provides educational resources\, and links each person to programs and services suited to attain health and wellbeing goals safely and smartly. She also creates an individualized plan and provides motivational support as each community member works to achieve success along their personal wellbeing journey. Wright has more than 20 years of professional experience\, including the following areas of expertise: Social Services\, Health Education\, Community Relations\, Management\, Personal Training\, and Fitness Coaching. She earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and two bachelor’s degrees. She is passionate about helping others reach their goals and achieve self-empowerment.

DESCRIPTION:Join us in person for Music and Gratitude with CFCArts on Wednesday\, November 10 at 7 PM.\n\n\nThrough the good times or the bad\, we can always count on our favorite song to lift up our spirits. This is because music evokes emotions within us that we wouldn’t otherwise feel\, and gratitude is one of those emotions. It’s a powerful feeling that allows us to heal and feel enlightened on this journey of life. \nLearn how to express your appreciation through music by joining this in-person program with Ashley Lewis\, a music therapist and Music Therapy program coordinator at Central Florida Community Arts (CFCArts). \nDuring this program\, Lewis will share fun\, creative\, and research-based ways music can help to expand your gratitude\, increase your wellbeing\, and help you to develop self-care routines that are easy and fun to incorporate into your daily life. She graduated from Florida State University with her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Music Therapy\, with clinical practice and research focused on utilizing music therapy for performers and artists. \nHer clinical experience includes premature infants in the NICU\, adults in ICU\, ER\, labor and delivery\, cardiac\, oncology\, adults in behavioral health\, adults recovering from substance abuse\, adults with physical and developmental disabilities\, Parkinson’s\, Alzheimer’s and dementia\, hospice and palliative care\, and LGBTQ youth\, caretakers\, and artists/performers. Prior to moving to Orlando\, Lewis provided clinical music therapy working within an inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation center co-treating with SLP/OT/PT\, supervising pre-interns\, and directing a Parkinson’s Awareness Choir.

Prior to assuming her leadership role at Nourish\, Chef Haw spent several years operating her own successful meal delivery service out of Longwood\, Collette’s Clean Eats\, and as a private chef to a celebrity family in Atlanta. \nAbout Dr. Nathalie Dauphin McKenzie\, MD\, AdventHealth \nDr. Nathalie Dauphin McKenzie is an award-winning gynecologic oncologist surgeon board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine with tremendous expertise and experience providing advanced surgical treatments including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures for women with all types of gynecologic cancers. A cancer survivor herself\, she provides compassionate\, holistic\, integrative and state of the art medical care. She is especially known for her expertise in radical debulking surgeries to remove advanced tumors and has a passion for cancer research. Dr. McKenzie\, who speaks four languages fluently\, earned her medical degree with research honors in New York; completed residency and fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital & Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. She also earned her Master of Science in Public Health and Epidemiology with honors while completing her fellowship training after which she was inducted into the Honor Society of graduate and professional schools. She has received numerous awards and has been voted by medical staff as best physician colleague. Her innovative research initiatives during the early part of her career resulted in research funding awards and recognition. Most recently Dr. Mckenzie was selected as one of 16 oncologists from all over the united states and the world to undergo extensive leadership training with the premier oncology society\, ASCO. As a graduate of this leadership development program\, she sits on national committees that monitor and provide guidance to oncology practices throughout the country. With a passion for teaching\, she serves as the current Program Director of Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship and has affiliate faculty appointments with the FSU and UCF Colleges of Medicine through which she regularly mentors students and residents. In addition to teaching and research\, Dr. Mckenzie also sits on numerous boards for charity organizations\, goes on surgical missions to impoverished areas internationally and frequently lectures nationally and internationally.

She was co-owner of Good Life Cafe and Catering\, a sustainable food business from 1996 to 2013. She is a 2009 Archibald Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow and completed her Master of Public Health degree in Nutrition at the University of Minnesota in 2011 while working to build strong networks within health and food systems for greater access to food\, support for sustainable farming\, and understanding of cooking as a health strategy. Her first cookbook\, Cooking up the Good Life\, emphasizes local\, seasonal whole foods cooking for families and was released in April of 2011 from the University of Minnesota Press. \nChef Breen currently teaches three courses at the University of Minnesota\, including an online undergraduate course called “Food Choices: Healing the Earth\, Healing Ourselves” and a graduate level cooking course for health professional students called “Food Matters: Cook Like Your Life Depends on It\,” both through the Bakken Center. She also teaches an undergraduate nutrition cooking class\, “A Food Systems Approach to Cooking” through the Healthy Foods\, Healthy Lives Institute in College of Food\, Agricultural\, and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS). She contracts as a Public Health culinary nutrition educator with local health departments\, school districts and nonprofit food and farming organizations.

She was president of the Suburban Garden Club of Germantown\, TN\, and the Winter Park Garden Club\, and spearheaded a WPGC Civic Awareness project at Pulsifer Place. She is currently working with the City of Winter Park for planting an Edible Orchard on Cady Way and signage for all the trees in Central Park. \nIn Germantown\, TN\, Bader served as chair of the Beautification Commission for several years and was awarded a Four-Star individual Award from the state. She now enjoys serving on the Board of Winter Park in Bloom. Her goal is to enhance Winter Park to be an even nicer community than when she moved to town in 2011.

Issen is a licensed mental health counselor and registered nurse. She is recently retired as the outpatient counselor at Orlando Health/UF Health Cancer Center. For several years\, Issen coordinated the Sage-ing Center\, a program which encourages and supports adults of all ages\, but particularly those in the second half of life\, to inventory\, evaluate and intentionally plan a life of purpose\, learning\, fulfillment and community service. She brought this comprehensive program to the hospice several years ago and developed Hospice of the Comforter’s Quality of Life Education Program. \nIssen has taught Psychology at the college level and has worked in the field of Health and Wellness for more than 35 years\, including more than 10 years as a hospice nurse and counselor. Her areas of specialty include stress management\, grief and loss\, end-of-life\, aging and relationship issues\, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and Positive Psychology. \nShe has a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Beyond her professional life\, Issen is an “extreme gardener\,” volunteers at a local animal shelter and performs with local singing and theatre groups.

She was co-owner of Good Life Cafe and Catering\, a sustainable food business from 1996 to 2013. She is a 2009 Archibald Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow and completed her Master of Public Health degree in Nutrition at the University of Minnesota in 2011 while working to build strong networks within health and food systems for greater access to food\, support for sustainable farming\, and understanding of cooking as a health strategy. Her first cookbook\, Cooking up the Good Life\, emphasizes local\, seasonal whole foods cooking for families and was released in April of 2011 from the University of Minnesota Press. \nChef Breen currently teaches three courses at the University of Minnesota\, including an online undergraduate course called “Food Choices: Healing the Earth\, Healing Ourselves” and a graduate level cooking course for health professional students called “Food Matters: Cook Like Your Life Depends on It\,” both through the Bakken Center. She also teaches an undergraduate nutrition cooking class\, “A Food Systems Approach to Cooking” through the Healthy Foods\, Healthy Lives Institute in College of Food\, Agricultural\, and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS). She contracts as a Public Health culinary nutrition educator with local health departments\, school districts and nonprofit food and farming organizations.

Dr. McKenzie\, who speaks four languages fluently\, earned her medical degree with research honors in New York; completed residency and fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital & Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. She also earned her Master of Science in Public Health and Epidemiology with honors while completing her fellowship training after which she was inducted into the Honor Society of graduate and professional schools. She brought this comprehensive program to the hospice several years ago and developed Hospice of the Comforter’s Quality of Life Education Program. Issen has taught Psychology at the college level and has worked in the field of health and wellness for more than 35 years\, including more than 10 years as a hospice nurse and counselor. Her areas of specialty include Stress Management\, Grief and Loss\, End-of-Life\, Aging and Relationship Issues\, and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and Positive Psychology. Beyond her professional life\, Issen is an “extreme gardener\,” volunteers at a local animal shelter and performs with local singing and theatre groups.

She joined Audubon in February 2017\, and hasn’t looked back. VonMutius grew up in Orlando and has a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in Art Education\, and she continues to create art in her free time. She started her career as an educator at SeaWorld and then the Central Florida Zoo\, where was a Conservation Educator and Resident Artist. Through her years of being an educator\, VonMutius has inspired children and adults alike to take part in conserving wildlife through her enthusiastic leadership at summer camps\, programs for public\, private and homeschool students\, and special events.

She works directly with community members providing wellbeing coaching\, consultation\, and concierge services. Wright will make suggestions\, provide educational resources\, and link each person to programs and services suited to attain health and wellbeing goals safely and smartly. Wright also creates an individualized plan and provides motivational support as each community member works to achieve success along their personal wellbeing journey. \nShe has more than 20 years of professional experience\, including the following areas of expertise: Social Services\, Health Education\, Community Relations\, Management\, Personal Training\, and Fitness Coaching. She earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and two bachelor’s degrees. She is passionate about helping others reach their goals and achieve self-empowerment.
