He attended Winter Park High School and went on to play Division I tennis at Harvard University\, graduating with Honors with a degree in biomedical engineering. There never seems to be enough snacks! It’s time to empower your little ones to whip up their own summer snacks! \nIn this class\, appropriate for children 8 and older\, cookbook author and elementary school teacher Katie Farmand (and mom of two!) will lead a hands-on cooking demonstration designed to give kids confidence in the kitchen. \nThey will learn to prepare (and sample) the following recipes: Apple “Nachos” with Almond Butter; Grilled Ham & Cheese Roll-Ups: Birthday Cake Energy Bites; and Frozen Yogurt Bark. \nThe $10/kid program fee includes instruction\, samples and a take-home recipe booklet. Parents do not need to purchase a ticket to attend this class\, but we kindly request you remain on the Center for Health & Wellbeing campus\, with your children in view\, during the class.
