Or would the food just taste like vegetables? Have you ever wanted to eat creamy cheese\, but can’t tolerate the dairy? Or maybe you’ve been curious about making your own non-dairy milk to save some money\, but you have no idea where to start. \nStart here! This class is about eating tasty\, fresh\, plant-based foods\, without additives — just food and spices. No added oils or preservatives\, just real\, good food. \nIn this Intro to Raw Foods class\, plant-based\, certified ACE health coach Julie Ward will discuss the benefits to the body of eating raw foods from time to time. We’ll make a few non-dairy milks\, a non-dairy ricotta cheese that is always a hit with friends\, a raw soup\, and a walnut “meat” that’s great for tacos. \nJulie\, who holds a certificate in Plant–Based Nutrition from eCornell\, will discuss the preparation of raw\, plant-based foods and how to enjoy many more fresh foods. \nProgram note: For those with allergies\, please be aware that this class will use nuts\, seeds and oats. \nCancelling Your Reservation: In order to receive a full refund\, participants must cancel their program registration at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled start of the program. Not only is gardening good for your physical health\, studies show it is also great for your mental health. \nLearn how to get started\, under the careful guidance of Melissa Goltermann\, who regularly offers classes to children and adults at her not-for-profit food forest farm Momma G Farms\, located in Eustis\, Florida. \nIn this class at the Center for Health & Wellbeing\, you will receive step-by-step instructions on how to plan and execute creating your own food forest in your yard\, patio\, or even balcony. \nThis program is presented by Melissa Goltermann and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation. \nAbout the Presenter:    \nMelissa Goltermann started her healing journey after 10 years of being on pain management due to a serious car accident. She found the medication was only masking her symptoms and she searched for ways to heal her body. Coming off the medication was not easy\, and her body is still healing. Moringa was the first thing she used to help in her healing journey. Her mission is to educate others on how plants can be a part of a healthy healing diet. She offers free classes to children and adults at her not-for-profit food forest farm Momma G Farms\, located in Eustis\, Florida.
