SUMMARY:Enhancing Caregiver Wellbeing
DESCRIPTION:Join Mental Health Counselor Alison Issen to discuss the impact of caregiving on the caregiver’s productivity\, health and quality of life.\n\n\nBecause of our aging population\, 59% of adults are either currently family caregivers\, or expect to be at some point in the future. She is recently retired as the outpatient counselor at Orlando Health/UF Health Cancer Center. Research has consistently shown the importance of a good diet on your health\, energy levels and longevity. What you ingest also affects your mental health. For example\, you can adjust your serotonin levels by varying the amount of carbohydrates in your diet. \nIn this session\, learn useful\, practical tools and tricks for improving your nutrition.
