She developed her horticultural skills while living for four years at Nehrling Gardens\, a historic botanical garden\, in Gotha\, Florida. Since 2015\, Chomanics has been a program manager for Fleet Farming\, an urban agriculture program that transforms lawns into farms. She is now the Program Director at Fleet Farming\, a non-profit program of IDEAS For Us. \nWhen she is not farming\, Chomanics is honored to be the gardening teacher at Inspiring Minds Day School\, teaching children about the wonders of the natural world. In this think-and-do workshop\, participants will be introduced to the growing movement amongst environmental groups to embrace positive storytelling. Leaders from IDEAS for Us will share some of the techniques anyone can use to become better storytellers and then we’ll break out into small groups to let our positive imaginations run wild. \n“It’s all a question of story.
