DESCRIPTION:Join us in person for “Cooking with Colette: Fourth of July Picnic Feast” on Wednesday\, June 29\, 2022 at 11 AM in the Nutrition Theatre.\n\n\nAre you tired of hot dogs and hamburgers for the Fourth of July? Spice up your summertime cookouts in time for Independence Day weekend with recipes bursting with summertime flavors. Plus\, these are recipes that are actually good for you\, too. Your diners will never know because they will be too busy clamoring for seconds! Chef Collette Haw\, a classically trained Culinary Institute of America graduate with a passion for seasonal\, sustainable cooking\, will demonstrate three delicious recipes that celebrate some of summer’s favorite flavors. This is a demonstration-style cooking program\, so prepare to sit back\, relax\, and let our chef prepare the meal while you enjoy delicious items. While attending this program\, participants will receive a booklet for the following demonstrated recipes: \n\nGrilled Potato Salad\nBBQ Chicken\nFresh Fruit Salsa\n\nThis program is presented by Collette Haw and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation. \nCancelling Your Reservation: If you are unable to attend a program\, cancelling your reservation gives us an accurate count of how many to expect; for sold-out programs\, cancelling your reservation also allows someone on the waitlist to attend in your place. With a passion for seasonal\, sustainable cooking\, Chef Haw approaches her cooking with a passion for blending comfort-food-gone-healthy and ‘food as medicine’ philosophies. Chef Haw spent several years operating her own successful meal delivery service out of Longwood—Collette’s Clean Eats—and as a private chef to a celebrity family in Atlanta before launching the Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen in the Center for Health & Wellbeing. For its first three years in operation\, she created the café’s beloved seasonal menus. A new mom\, she’s now ventured out on her own to return to her passion for recipe development service for local businesses and organizations in Central Florida. She also is a familiar face at the Center for Health & Wellbeing via her popular online series\, Small Bites.

DESCRIPTION:Join us in person for Country Line Dancing on Wednesday\, June 29 at 7 PM in Community Conference Center.\n\n\nGet ready to do some boot scootin’ boogying with the fun team from Studio K. Join these expert dancers for the return of this always popular class during which you will learn all the most popular Country Line Dances. You’ve seen them online or in your favorite country bars and now you’ll learn how to shake it with the best of them! No prior experience or partners needed. Come dressed in comfortable clothing\, sneakers\, or even country line boots and find your new favorite way to move. \nSpecial Note: This program is offered twice in June (June 22 and June 29). While attendance at both programs is encouraged\, it is not required. You may attend one or both sessions. \nSpecial Instructions: We strongly urge attendees to be dressed in comfortable clothing\, sneakers or country line dance boots.
