SUMMARY:Intergenerational Family Memories Art Project (In Person)
DESCRIPTION:Join us in person for “Intergenerational Family Memories Art Project” taking place on Tuesday\, June 28\, 2022 at 10:30 AM.\n\n\nSummer is here! What are you or your family’s favorite summertime memories and activities? Are you a beach family? Camping or theme park family? Are you a road trip\, Backyard BBQs and s’mores on the fire type of family? Or do you and your family hold fond memories of swimming all the time? \nCelebrate and commemorate those special moments with a loved one in this interactive\, hands-on workshop led by artist Liz Kitchens. In this program\, you’ll create your own triptych illustrating favorite family summer memories. A triptych is a work of art made up of three canvas panels. We invite grandparents\, parents\, and children to join and enjoy this multi-media art experience as you paint and collage favorite summer experiences. \nSpecial Note: A partner is not required for this program\, so if you’re flying solo\, you’re welcome to attend and create some fun art. Canvases\, paints\, brushes\, and collage materials will be provided. \nThis program is presented by Liz Kitchens and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation. \nCanceling Your Reservation: If you are unable to attend a program\, cancelling your reservation gives us an accurate count of how many to expect; for sold-out programs\, cancelling your reservation also allows someone on the waitlist to attend in your place. Cancelling can be done in two easy ways: by calling 407.644.2492 and selecting Option 1\, then Option 3 to speak to a representative or by using the online ticket cancellation option in your original confirmation email from Eventbrite. \nBy participating in this program\, you agree to CHWB’s Gracious Space policy. \nAbout the Program Presenter \nLiz Kitchens is a 30-year clay artist and an avowed creativity evangelist. She believes our best selves are merely one doodle away. Kitchens has been the director of the Jeremiah Project\, an after-school and summer creative arts program for at-risk youth. Her blog — Be Brave. Lose the Beige! — focuses on creative living. To learn more about Liz Kitchens\, please visit http://bebravelosethebeige.com/
