SUMMARY:Using the Wisdom of Your Heart to Build Resilience (In Person)
DESCRIPTION:Join us in person for “Using the Wisdom of Your Heart to Build Resilience” on Thursday\, February 24 at 11 AM in Community Conference Room B.\n\n\nIf the last couple years have proven anything\, we’ve been shown the importance of resilience. Challenging circumstances and people will test us\, and in the process our overall health and wellbeing. In this program led by HeartMath® Resilience Trainer Stephanie Veraghen\, you’ll learn how the HeartMath techniques — peer-reviewed research on the science of resilience — can help you thrive in a world of flux\, challenge and opportunities. \nThis program will focus on two key topics: how to create inner ease and access your own innate intelligence. At the heart of these lessons is your own heart. In this workshop\, you’ll also learn how to: \n\ndiscern important issues and make better decisions.\nprevent or reduce anger\, overwhelm or anxiety.\nstay poised in ease to maintain judgment-free participation in meetings or conversations.\ncreate or restore patience and resilience when needed.\nenhance creativity and intuitive insight.\nget clarity on situations.\nshift your perspective or see outside of the box.\ncreate new possibilities.\nintegrate the heart into the planning process.\n\nThis program is presented by Stephanie Veraghen and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation. \nA note regarding COVID-19 safety protocols: At this time\, all guests at the Center for Health & Wellbeing are required to wear masks in all indoor spaces\, including during our education programs. Presenters may remove their masks in order to be better heard by audience members. Attendees\, however\, must keep their masks fully in place (covering the nose and mouth) during the entire presentation. In accordance with CHWB guidelines\, our programs will also be limited in capacity and rooms set to account for social distancing. \nCancelling Your Reservation: If you are unable to attend a program\, cancelling your reservation gives us an accurate count of how many to expect; for sold-out programs\, cancelling your reservation also allows someone on the waitlist to attend in your place. Cancelling your reservation for this program is especially important as we are currently limiting capacities as part of our COVID-19 safety regulations. Cancelling can be done in two easy ways: by calling 407.644.2492 and selecting Option 1\, then Option 3 to speak to a representative or by using the online ticket cancellation option in your original confirmation email from Eventbrite. \nBy participating in this program\, you agree to CHWB’s Gracious Space policy. \nAbout the Program Presenter \nStephanie Veraghen is the founder of Show Up Awesome\, a certified life coach and HeartMath® Resilience trainer. She holds an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Design\, bachelor’s degree in Advertising-Public Relations\, and master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology\, specializing in Leadership and Conflict Transformation which integrates the spiritual and transcendent aspects of the human experience with the framework of modern psychology.
