Unleash your inner artist during this program presented by local artist Grace Sellers. Grace, whose work is inspired by the natural world, will teach the basics of sketching through use of simple art techniques. You’ll observe the world around you, then choose an object in your home to draw during this guided session. You’ll also learn how to hold and control your sketching pencil, how to use the pencil to measure proportions and how to create outlines and shade while avoiding smudges.
Special Instructions: please be prepared for this program with a #2 pencil, colored pencils, paper for your sketch and a paper towel.
