Whose mother didn’t often preach ‘Eat your carrots! They are good for your eyes!’ at the family dinner table growing up? Mom was right – and while carrots, rich in Vitamin A, are definitely helpful in maintaining strong eyesight, there are many additional nutritional components that keep our eyes healthy.
Join us for a presentation with Optometrist Dr. Ryan Nicholas that focuses on the latest research on nutrition and its effects on eye disease prevention. Covering dry eye syndrome, retinal disease and an overview of genetic risk factors that may indicate the benefit of nutritional supplements, you’ll leave this program educated and inspired to take better care of one of our most important organs.
This program is presented by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
