Learn the fundamentals of self-myofascial release (SMR) or foam rolling. This recovery practice decreases delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOM), increases flexibility as well as range of motion and reduces the risk of injury. Each participant will receive his or her own foam roller to take home. Fitness Specialist, Sammy Rider, and Group Exercise Instructor, Adriana Duarte Pontual, will lead this workshop. All body types and skill levels are welcome.
