November kicks off the holiday season with high expectations for a cozy and festive time of year. However, for many this time of year is tinged with sadness, anxiety, or depression.
Research shows that one aspect of the Thanksgiving season can actually lift the spirits, and it’s built right into the holiday — expressing gratitude. Doing so not only uplifts our outlook on life, but also improves cognitive function and brain power.
In this one-hour workshop, you’ll gain real-life tools to identify negative thought patterns and turn them around, shifting to a more positive view of yourself and your life. This program includes a lecture, interactive exercises and group discussion led by Jen Larsen, founder and owner of Innerglow Wellness, LLC.
This program is presented by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
