Join us for Exercise for Brain Fitness (Webinar) on Monday, August 17th at 11:00 AM.

You know exercise is good for your body, but did you know movement is also good for your brain? In this program, you’ll learn to improve your memory, creative skills and ability to cope by adding healthy moves to your life. As you move your body, your brain becomes stronger, you create new neural networks, stimulate new connectivity, strengthen existing blood vessels and repair damaged vessels. This leads to a sense of overall wellbeing and opens a world of health opportunities as we improve our cognitive health.

This class is for all levels and options are given to exercise in various ways to gain benefits while in your comfort zone.

Special instructions: please be prepared for this program with the following supplies:

  • Small ball
  • Small item that makes you happy or laugh, like a baby photo or trinket from a positive experience
  • Water bottle

How to join the Zoom Program:

Upon registration for this program, you will receive two emails:

  • One email from Eventbrite: you can either disregard this email or save it for your records. No action needed with this message.
  • One email from the Center for Health & Wellbeing: this email will contain your link to join the Zoom meeting. Simply select the link and the Zoom Meeting will launch. Please allow yourself five – 10 minutes before program start to launch Zoom and confirm your technology is properly working.

This program is presented by Beth Morris and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in collaboration with the Crosby Wellness Center. 

About Beth Morris

Beth is a graduate of the University of Florida and has taught group exercise classes throughout her 20-year career as a Fitness Professional.  She completed a 200-hour Yoga training at Full Circle in Winter Park and has taught yoga for 10 years. She has worked as a Health Coach, Diabetes Prevention Facilitator and as a Cancer Survivor Fitness Coach in a program called, Livestrong.  She is currently the Medical Integration Manager at Crosby Wellness Center bridging the gap for those with medical concerns returning to a healthy lifestyle.
