You’ve heard it, you know it: The Mediterranean diet is crazy healthy. In fact, if the typical American ate a traditional Mediterranean diet, they could reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke by 30 to 40 percent, according to Walter Willett, MD, DrPH, of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. But guess what else it is? It’s hands-down one of the most delicious diets in the world.
