Connective Communication focuses on the quality of connection experienced with yourself, others and the world. By shifting out of judgement, blame and criticism (which result in disconnection) and into awareness, compassion and understanding (which result in connection) we are able to foster meaningful relationships, clear thinking, and create powerful strategies for aspects of life that matter to us.
This introductory course is suited for individuals 18 years and older. Connective Communication Basics is taught by Tisse Mallon, founder and director of the Elar Institute, an organization dedicated to teaching emotional intelligence and creating a space of belonging. With an educational foundation in mindfulness, personal development and creativity, Tisse has been a holistic lifestyle teacher for the past eight years and has produced hundreds of events and programs focusing on connection, culture and wellness. This program is presented by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
