Join Loren Weiland, Crosby Wellness Center Certified Group Exercise Coordinator, for this dynamic exercise class facilitated through Zoom videoconference. You’ll cover all aspects of fitness, including flexibility, strength, balance and cardiovascular conditioning while learning how to exercise safely and effectively in the comfort of your own home. You’ll also discover important modifications that can be made to accommodate physical limitations.
The majority of the exercises in this class will be performed in a seated position, except for a brief standing balance and cardio segment. Loren will take questions at the end of this program during a Q&A segment.

Special Instructions: Please be prepared to participate in this class with a chair and dumbbells. Soup cans or water bottles can be substituted if you don’t have access to dumbbells at home.
How to join the Zoom Meeting on Monday, May 4:
Upon registration for this program, you will receive two emails:
- One email from Eventbrite: you can either disregard this email or save it for your records. No action needed with this message.
- One email from the Center for Health & Wellbeing: this email will contain your link to join the Zoom meeting. Simply select the link and the Zoom Meeting will launch. Please allow yourself five – 10 minutes before program start to launch Zoom and confirm your technology is properly working.

Loren Weiland has a rich history of working with older adults, helping them stay active and exercise safely. She holds a group fitness instructor certification from the American Council on Exercise and a 500 hr. RYT credential, indicating that she has successfully completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training program.
